  • 2009-07-01 Streaming Screencasts with Viddler

You asked for it, so here it is!

Finally, if you don’t want to wait for my screencasts to fully download, you can watch them streamed!

I tried out Viddler, Vimeo, Viddyou, and YouTube - all good services. Viddler has treated me the best, so far, so I’m starting to upload my screencasts to Viddler and start embedding them in my blog posts.

Ofcourse, you’ll still be able to download the full screencasts in the formats that I currently support:

    • xvid encoded avi
    • x264 encoded mp4
    • ogg

Let me know (in the comments) how you like the streaming Viddler videos. I’ve actually found that the videos looks better if you click the Full Screen button full screen button (atleast on my tiny 1280x800 laptop screen).

Are the available formats working well for everyone? The Viddler streams? Let me know!

    Enjoy!

( With Flash installed, you would see a video here. )
